Its been a while, hasn't it? I thought about putting Hello Witches to sleep a long sleep, but I enjoy writing this column too much. It will stay for now. Going to sit down with a glass of home made strawberry wine and muse on the secret teachings of my favorite working tool. Magic!

These cards read very separately to me, I don't feel much rapport amongst them. It feels like they stand as individuals pertaining only to the day that they cover. Odd! I have to say, though, that they are very beautiful and they have a mist of magic in their scenes. It could be the goldleaf ink, or the painting style. I notice that nobody is smiling, not even the Lovers. It's a very somber deck, but it says what it needs to without problem.

Notice the two Aces, standing for beginnings in writing and in career.

Monday. Seven of Coins. Options aplenty over your head to consider. Pick what you can and count what is still there for the future. Make an inventory list to refer back to in the future.

Tuesday. Ace of Swords. Speak freely, I have no reserves in defending yourself as you need to. Strive to speak clearly and leave no room for misunderstandings. Don't take any blathering and bullshit!

Wednesday. King of Coins. A wise person looks out for their investment and what they will get from it. Sport the product of your work with pride, and share with others what you do. Your enthusiasm, if properly employed, should get them excited in what you are doing.

Thursday. Four of Cups. Sometimes we can get carried away with our fantasies, because well... why not? Reality may not always be as glamorous as our dreams. The good news from dreaming so much is that you can structure a plan that outlines the steps you need to take in order to get where you want to go.

Friday. The Lovers. Celebrations of love and meaningful relationships. Joining in a powerful embrace that transcends circumstances of life. The motivation we can get because of this support can push us through common bounds and into some amazing new heights if we allow ourselves to be swept by the magic.

Saturday. Strength. Learning discipline and the meaning of sacrifice. It takes great willpower to strike down opposition. Bringing peace to tomult is not impossible, but it must be carefully calculated for effectiveness.

Sunday. Hierophant. Learning from previous mistakes and experiences brings you wisdom. Accept all of the tough lessons that life can bring your way as part of the process of being alive. We learn as we go and that's okay.

What to avoid. Three of Cups. You don't always want to socialize, sometimes it's important to take time for yourself. You are not under any obligation to set aside your comfort and peace of mind for the sake of tending to somebody else's convenience and expectation. Look to be alone if you desire, therein you find you are most productive and comfortable.

What to strive for. Ace of Coins. Look to be productive; look to embrace the tasks that are pending. Break into action, accepting any opportunity that presents itself to you. It's a great day to say yes to whatever surprises are in store for you in your career.

I am very excited to share the news of my latest acquisition: The Victorian Romantic Gold Limited Edition Journal from Baba Studio! This past December I managed to swipe the deck itself in an out of print bag, but I've been looking for the journal since. After a few bulletins on the Internet, someone popped up with it and now it's on its way to me. I'm so excited! Super yes!
